Privacy Statement


Singleimage collects and processes personal data consistent with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulation 2003 (PECR).


Under GDPR, we process personal information for direct marketing (our legitimate interest), as well as for order processing, invoicing and related administration. Singleimage collects data about potential and actual users of our services. We provide services only to organisations and not to individuals. We collect names of employees and other staff, their job titles or organisational roles, work address, phone number and email, which in most cases takes the form of This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. As such, they are “subscribers other than natural persons” as described in PECR*. In some cases, we also collect the date, location and title of any Singleimage workshop they have attended and/or areas of research interest. 


The data is collected from inquiries and orders received by phone, email and web forms, and from publicly available sources.


For direct marketing, processing is limited to emailing to the email addresses collected. The information is stored on our own computer system and is not shared with or transferred to third parties.


Any person can object at any time to their inclusion in our emailing, and they will be removed as soon as possible and before the next mailing is initiated. They can object by replying to the email with “Unsubscribe” as the subject or by emailing the data controller using the address This email address is being protected from spambots. Exceptionally, “subscribers who are natural persons” as described in PECR* may be included in our direct marketing on the basis of consent if they (a) have attended one of our workshops, or (b) request this by email, saying that they consent to processing of their personal data in the way described in this privacy statement. 


The Singleimage website does not use cookies or automatically capture personal information by any means, other than logging the user’s IP address and session information such as the duration of a visit and the type of browser used. This is recognised by the web server and is used only for system administration and to provide statistics which Singleimage uses to evaluate use of the site.


Singleimage is registered on the public register of data controllers that is maintained by the UK Information Commissioner. Our registration number is Z5277623.


* Subscriber means a person or organisation which has a contract with a provider of publicly available electronic communications services including internet service providers.
